Plant Team Submissions
Vitro’s newest innovation award is the Vitrovation Award for Forward Progress, which is given to a collaborative plant team that submits an innovative idea for improving product quality, manufacturing costs or plant safety.
Each of Vitro’s plant locations and the Glass Technology Center are encouraged to participate, and each Vitrovation submission must come from a working team of employees rather than an individual. We encourage you to make connections with coworkers and colleagues to identify where quality, costs or safety can be improved and imagine a collaborative solution to implement at your location and beyond.

The Process
- Plant submissions will be reviewed by Vitro Architectural Glass senior leadership quarterly.
- Awards will be made by the President in his regular company-wide communication sessions.
- A special, displayable award will be issued to the plant teams for each successful submission.
